It is not a Mosque they are building in Manhattan

So you champion freedom of expression, but not limited government. So you have selective hatred of the Constitution.

Yep. Wonder how all these constitutionalists, states' righters stand on electoral college, states' rights to control marriage, health, etc. A lot like Obama invoking 'since our founding'...

I dont champion freedom to murder or steal, I champion other freedoms that all Americans, including Muslam Americans have, and one of those is religous freedom.

Opposing the legal sale of automatic weapons is not in opposition to the Consitution. As you know, this issue has been debated to infinity, and there are plenty on the conservative side who agree with this.

The populace has a right to bear arms. That is not being infringed. They don't have a right to automatic weapons, or grenades, or missile launchers.
Limited government means a lot more than that. Jarod supports all things Liberal, including socialized medicine. How is that in support of freedom?

For all of the "champions of freedom" out there, ask yourself this: where would the founders of this country - the authors of the Constitution & Declaration, and of all of the principles we associate w/ being an American - where would they come down on the issue of the mosque?

Treaty of Tripoli...

Consider why the Pilgrams came to America, consider that they wrote the First Amendment, Consider that they chose the word Religen as opposed to Christanity.

I belive we know where they would have come down....

Finally, you admit you pick and choose which parts of the Constitution are 'important.' Depends on the day and issue, I guess. :good4u:

Man, are you dumb.

Can you show me which issues in the Constitution I have come down on the other side of?

And I can see you didn't answer the question. You don't even recognize your own hypocrisy.

You don't champion my freedom to live in America with limited government. Stop lying.

You have already shown that you don't want to that. The only argument left is how much gov't intrusion are you willing to tolerate.

Really? You mean where I said over and over again they have the right to build there?

That's not what I've seen, Annie. You're dishonest, to boot.

Now - let's have some of those quotes where I'm against the Constitution in other areas.

Why do you champion Islam's freedom at the expense of America's?

What? How will America lose freedoms by allowing this community center to be built?

You have it backwards. America's freedoms are at stake, and would be lost if you had your way.

Yeah freedom to take from those who earned money and give to those who didn't.

That is a matter of opinion, are you suggesting our Constitution requires anarchy?

Does our Consitution give me the freedom to murder or steal?

LOLzz..

The Founding Fathers would have never dealt with the issue of the mosque. You see, before 9/11 would have even happened, they would have rounded up all the mosque-builders, as well as you idiots who wanted to sympathize with them, and tried you for sedition and treason, since their religion had already declared war on America. Those who weren't executed promptly, would have been imprisoned, and when the prisons were full, they would have put you all on boats and escorted you out to sea, and waved goodbye to your stupid asses as you disappeared on the horizon like a turd down a toilet hole. THAT is how our Founding Fathers would have "dealt" with this.

LOL right back atchya Reb.

Guess ya haven't read too many of their writings. That's a shame - they had some good ideas.

As for "Islam declaring war on America"....good luck w/ that one.
