Never saw the Warsaw Ghetto wall in action. The Berlin wall was a deterrent, no doubt about that.

Yes, the Berlin wall was a deterrent. It did what it was designed and intended to do. I am certainly not saying I agree with the purpose why it was built, just the effectiveness.
