I hope you aren't conflating Hamas with Al Qassam, the militant terrorist organization that attacked Israel on 7 Oct 2023.

Al Qassam is the military wing of Hamas, not Iran although they get virtually all their support from Iran.

Hamas, when they were alive, were Gaza's public administrators. Al Qassam, Iran's well-funded terrorist proxy, exists to destroy Israel.

Hamas’ charter, explicitly calls for the destruction of Israel and the establishment of an Islamic state in its place.

I truly hope you aren't conflating the two; that would be very bad.
