Exactly correct. It's just a narrative with no facts to support it. Trump is being attacked therefore it is partisan. That's the totality of it. Hillary not guilty so partisan.

If a client were to call me and say... "I am considering committing XYZ crime, if I can figure out a way to get away with it, will you give me some advice or help?"

IN that scenario, the crime is not imminent and the communication would clearly not be privileged.

Additionally, If you and your cousin Fred come to my office, I represent you but not Fred... What you tell both of us is not privileged because an outside person breaks the privilege.

There are other exceptions, but those are just two.
