What point would you like to discuss, I disagree with a lot of it.

I disagree, I think the investigation should continue and be fully exhausted, I will be happy if after a complete investigation Rump is found to be clear. I don't think Mueller is acting in a partisan way, in fact Mueller is a lifelong Republican and Conservative. He is also an American hero as a Viet Nam Vet.

Why does the US have this crazy system where you give somebody millions of dollars, and basically say go get them, and don't come back till you do? How is that much different to the old Soviet show trials?

Again you miss the point, he has been told to go get him, given unlimited resources and an open ended timetable, just as Starr did with Bill Clinton. It is a crazy bloody system set up basically to keep overpriced avaricious lawyers in work.

We dont have such a system.
We give Mueller millions of dollars and say, fully investigate this, its okay if you find he didn't do anything wrong, as long as you fully investigate. Alan is simply wrong with his allegation about anyone demanding he get Trump. In fact I believe the Republicans who appointed Mueller would prefer Mueller find no crimes.
The Republicans who appointed Ken Starr (a Republican), might have had pressure to find something on Clinton, but it was Clinton's fault that they found it.
Nobody said "go get him", they said, do a thorough investigation and report back what you find.
You can't pretend to have gotten someone, if the guy is clean, there will be no good evidence against him. If there are indictments recommended, they will be supported by evidence.
Here to tell you that a million clients are using that privilege every day all day long and it is respected by all the courts and opposing counsel.
The idea that "the privilege is dead" is just more stupid rhetoric from the clown in chief that makes zero sense in logic or fact.
Just because the privilege doesn't work for a criminal doesn't mean it doesn't work for the rest of us.

It patently obvious to all, that are outside of the cauldron of US politics, that he has an agenda. It was set up to investigate collusion, they haven't found any and now he is attempting to get Trump to incriminate himself by submitting for an interview. Trump should tell him to go fuck himself.
