She's done a lot worse. She purports to advocate for women's rights while accepting money, through the Clinton Foundation, from countries that have poor records on women's rights.

Trump wanted to have his supporter-appeasing cake & eat it too. He didn't think the media would react the way they did.He knew EXACTLY what he was doing. It's what he's been doing the whole campaign. He knows his hopes lie in the enthusiasm of his ignorant & largely racist base.

I have to admit, if I were running for President, and a staffer came up to me for approval on releasing that graphic, I wouldn't recognize it as the Star of David, and would give the them the thumbs-up to go to press. Of course, if he had a hand in designing it, then that might change things a bit. I tend not to notice tell-tale signs of anti-Semitism until they are pointed out to me.
