Is this why Trump is winning thus far?

2008 was the left going anti status quo. 2016 is the rights turn

There are many parallels between Obama and Trump. Unfortunately I think the right is going to get screwed more than the left did.

I enjoyed the Trump "phenomenon" when it first started. I even contemplated supporting him. But as this goes on, I see troubling signs. I am sticking with Cruz and may even have to hold my breath for Rubio. But I will not support Trump.

Holding your breath why?

Did Darla give you permission?

Who ya gonna support when Bernie loses? That's right bitch. You are gonna pull the lever for Hillary like a good little boy. You don't have the balls to vote your conscience.

C'mon now!!
How much conscience can he really have.
I mean he hooked up with Darla for Gawd's sake. :palm:

Only for info I consider to be common knowledge.
As I have stated repeatedly.
Why are you so soft in the head?

No you have not stated repeatedly. Also, we were talking about a subject that is not common knowledge, fracking issues, and you told me to google it. You made some wild ass claim and refused to back it up.

GFY. :)

The facts of fracking are available on wiki and thousands of other sites.
To the environmentally literate facts of fracking are common knowledge.

To a retard like you nothing is common knowledge.
You are off the scale.

Trump is inspiring white supremacists, according to a national organizer of a leading Ku Klux Klan group — and his candid rhetoric is being used to recruit more of them.

The KKK is using the Republican presidential frontrunner as an outreach tool, Rachel Pendergraft, the national membership coordinator for the Knights Party, told The Washington Post. Trump’s candidacy, which has been characterized by often divisive nativist rhetoric, has “electrified” some members, the newspaper reported.

Trumps base is uneducated rednecks.

Maybe true to some extent. But Hillary's base is uneducated immigrants and under-educated urban minorities so there's that lol. Call it a draw.

Maybe it comforts you somehow to pigeon hole the Trump phenomena into that threadbare racialist narrative but what's driving the Trump train is dissatisfaction: people are dissatisfied with the way things are going; specifically, with regards to economic and immigration policy.

Here is Trump talking about coal and how the coal industry [and the people's lives affected by it] have suffered under Obama's *policies:

https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=yk-C3tseJ8A

Notice he didn't say a single thing that was untrue. Maybe he's bullshitting and has no intention of reviving the coal industry, but at least he's talking about doing it. Is anyone else talking about it? No lol.

The establishment republicans piss and moan about Trump but maybe if they'd try and take his issues from him maybe they'd get some traction. But that would mean running afoul of the climate change sacrament. The fact they won't do it, is exactly the kind of thing that makes them establishment aka---democrat lite.

So there it is, you can keep telling yourself it's all racism, xenophobia or the usual liberal bromides but the fact is, it's the economy stupid. When government policy starts putting people out of work they're gonna be pissed.

Pissed enough to piss on the establishment in this instance.

I get that on some levels, Hillary represents basically the same thing.

But is it asking too much to maintain the bar at least at the level of wanting someone who doesn't mock disabled people?

Electing Trump would just be an embarrassment for our country, in a way that electing Hillary or anyone else in the current field wouldn't be.
