Something I never thought would happen, the reddest of all red states appears to be moving toward very light blue.

Tuns of Texas Congressmen are retiring and its clear they see the writing on the wall. No Democrats are retiring...

Polling data currently puts Biden ahead of tRump when put in a head to head poll.



If Texas turns blue... Would the Republicans ever win a national election again? What does a post-trump Republican party look like? Would they return to "traditional cultural values" or push forward with race and support for the one percent?


"W" gave us Obama. I just can't wait to see what tRump will give us.

Trump has been unable to undo Obama, the next President will undo Trump in 6 weeks.
 
when a relatively unknown like Beto comes within a few points of toppling long-time GOP stalwart Teddy Cruz...……..definitely

vote harvesting in Az is my biggest worry -but the economic refugees from the Socialist Republic of California along with zillions of illegals vote fraud can make Tx in play

Texas will be "very light" blue when Democrats can win one state-wide election which has not happened since 1994. A close loss does not count.

But he did way better than Democrats normally do, especially considering he was unknown at the time.
Between the growing Mestizo population and the Boomers dying off, Texas is slowing becoming blue. I'm not saying whether that's good or bad, just that it's happening.

Texas is hardly the "reddest of all red States"... You seem to be forgetting about States such as West Virginia, Wyoming, Utah, Oklahoma, North Dakota, Kentucky, Alabama, South Dakota, Tennessee, Arkansas, Idaho, Nebraska, and etc... You know, most of the country that is between the coastlines...
