depending on where vick starts, you might be right. If all vick has is receiving weapons, most likely. McDaniels is implementing a new system where there is going to be more running, but you'll see short to medium patterns out of marshall (if he stays), loydd, and moreno.
 
Vick is (or was) a great athlete. It's just a shame there is no position in football called "athlete."

If you prefer Vick over Brees (need I post Brees's stats from past three seasons?) you need to have you head examined. Vick could take a shitty team and make them mediocre, but he couldn't make a good team a championship team.

Vick did not run cause he couldn't pass, he had shitty recievers back then too.

Vick did run because he is not a good QB. He didn't wait and progress through his reads. He took a quick look and either chucked the ball or took off.

No I meant I'd take him as a back up.
He's not an elite passer, but I'd put him at the top of the group below elite passers. He's an elite running gb that can hit recievers down field and pass for about 3,000.
He'd be perfect in Miami or SF as their starter.

LMAO... Vick has NEVER thrown for 3000. EVER. The last three years he played he came up short of 2500 every year. Now after two years in jail he is suddenly capable of doing something he couldn't accomplish in his prime?

As for Miami, Pennington played pretty damn good last year. I would argue against Vick being any better... especially since he NEVER has been better than the year Chad put up last year.

SF... maybe... but keep in mind, Hill threw for 2000 yards in 8 starts last year. Thats like a Vick SEASON.

If he had zero rushing yrds I'd agree, His last season he had 1,000. That's 3,500 from scrimage. 20 td's 13 int's
Not pro bowl but way better than journey man. I hope he signs as our backup. Would hate like hell to see him in tampa

You stated he would PASS for 3000, that is what I was responding to. He is not likely to EVER pass for 3000. I doubt he would ever get over 3000 total again.

Yes, mediocre. Meaning "not sucking, but not super spectacular" and he was consistently going down from that one time high of the Super Bowl. Being at the top of the bottom half is the very definition of mediocre.

Denver. And Superfreak likes the Swedish Chefs. Denver got stupid and traded a top 5 QB for a top 10 QB, they may be stupid enough to pick up this top 15 QB, but it won't improve the team.
 
I consider Orton the bottom of the journeyman class, and his stats prove it.
LSU rapped him when he came with that weak ass arm to the sugarbowl and the whole NFL has been tapping that ass ever since. I feel sorry for Bronco fans.
