And yet just a week ago he wasn't hawkish on Syria..... Assad didn't change, didn't become any more evil, he just did what he's been doing for years now, kill civilians in horrible ways.

And yet we have Tillerson talking about Assad having no place in running Syria. You admit negotiations are pretty much meaningless, so now we are talking about alternatives.

i doubt he was focused on Syria then. He barely has a working NSC.

I've been quite hard on democrats .. really hard on Obama. I've resisted the notion that him being black made any more special than anyone else. I've resisted the thought of 'greater evil.'

That's over. There is a greater evil .. and it wants my children dead.

I will continue to vote for and support 3rd parties .. unless it may cause the election of a republican .. at which point I'll vote for the democrat.

Time for communication has past. Now it's time to act responsibly to a greater evil that wants my children dead.

Sure, but Trump wasn't hawkish against Syria, in fact his two main foreign policy spokespeople both made public statements to that fact just a week ago. Assad didn't change, he's been killing innocent civilians in grotesque ways for years. If it was such a bad idea to attack him in 2013, what has changed?
