Immigrant-rights activists attempted to block the road to federal immigration agents’ headquarters in Atlanta on Monday, demanding President Obama stop deporting any more illegal immigrants after last week’s Supreme Court stalemate.
Led by the Not1More campaign, which webcast the protest, the demonstrators called Mr. Obama to hamstring U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), the deportation agency, saying it’s up to the administration to protect illegal immigrants now.
“We are defending the security and stability of our families, sending a direct message to the Obama Administration,” said Carlos Medina, a member of the Georgia Latino Alliance for Human Rights. “We know that he has the ability to stop deportations at any given time. Our fight will not stop.”
The Supreme Court issued a tie ruling last week that left in place a lower court’s injunction blocking Mr. Obama’s broad amnesty program, which would have granted tentative legal status and work permits to as many as 5 million illegal immigrants.

Agents still encounter tuberculosis, scabies, measles, chickenpox and other unidentifiable infectious diseases when apprehending illegal immigrants on the South Texas border, an officer exclusively told Infowars.
Border agent Chris Cabrera, also vice president of the National Border Patrol Council 3307, said the respiratory disease tuberculosis is encountered “pretty regularly,” and that little has been done to improve the quarantine areas where illegals who harbor communicable diseases are detained.
“We see tuberculosis pretty regularly. Scabies – more often than not we have large amounts of infectious diseases as far as scabies go,” the border patrol council spokesperson stated. “And the interesting part with that is it’s not actually seen on the body during the infectious period. And so these people clear through our system and then they go into the rest of the country with that disease.”
“We see a lot of measles, a lot of chickenpox a lot of unidentified illnesses, a lot of lung infections that we don’t even know what we have no idea what they are.”

According to data recently released by the Office of Refugee Settlement, the Obama administration dumped another 4,097 illegal alien kids into U.S. communities during the month of April, adding on to the 29,250 kids the government had shipped to sponsors in the United States between October and March.
Broken down, this means the federal government sent about 132 illegal alien children per day to live in American neighborhoods during the month of April.
While this might not seem like a shockingly high number, here’s another way of looking at it. Based on 2015-16 enrollment data, the average Washington, D.C. middle school holds about 550 students. So in other words, the number of illegal alien kids the federal government processed and released in April alone would max out seven Washington, D.C. middle schools.
These children are usually placed with family members already living in the U.S., regardless of the relative's immigration status.
The 33,347 kids released to U.S.-based sponsors so far this fiscal year is on track to top FY2014 levels, when 53,515 unaccompanied alien minors who’d crossed the U.S. border illegally were processed as “refugees” and allowed to stay in the United States. Over the last two and a half years, 114,702 kids have been processed and sent to U.S.-based sponsors.

The backlog at U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services has ballooned by 1400 percent since 2011, with more than 128,000 asylum cases still pending at the end of 2015, the agency's ombudsman Maria M. Odom, said in her annual report to Congress. And the flow isn't letting up: New applications have more than doubled in five years, to 83,197, the report said.
As it struggles to keep up, CIS has been forced to reassign asylum officers to its Refugee Affairs Division to handle a larger influx of people fleeing violence and persecution around the world.

The U.S. accepted more than 2,300 Syrian refugees in June alone, sending the fiscal year total soaring past the 5,000 mark and putting the government on track to surpass President Obama’s goal of 10,000 by the end of September, but raising questions about screening out potential terrorists.
June’s numbers set a monthly record for the Homeland Security and State departments, which committed resources received earlier this year to streamline the process — in what critics say amounted to corner-cutting — to get back on track toward Mr. Obama’s political goal.
“I believe we will make the 10,000,” Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson testified to Congress on Thursday, assuaging fears of some Democrats that the administration was going to fall short.
Of those accepted in June, more than 99 percent are Sunni Muslims. Just eight identified themselves as Christian, eight identified as a non-Sunni form of Islam, and one reported having no religious affiliation. Those numbers have drawn criticism because the percentage of Sunni Muslims is far greater than that of the Syrian population as a whole, which is about 75 percent Sunni.

The mass migration of unaccompanied minors from Central America into the States in 2014 created a whole new crop of recruits. And these young men, some of them just 14 or 15 years old, are committing horrific crimes, such as decapitation and stoning.
In June of 2016, Leesburg Police, along with federal authorities, raided a home suspected of MS-13 members, leading to several arrests. And in Fairfax County MS-13 related incidents in the first 4 months of this year jumped more than 160 percent compared with 2015.
For Federal authorities, a potentially big turning point happened in May of this year, as prosecutors convicted six MS-13 members for their roles in three murders and one attempted murder in Northern Virginia.

The State Department is thwarting efforts to deport immigrants to China, Guinea, Liberia and other countries that are reluctant to take back their own citizens convicted of crimes — forcing immigration agents to release often-violent criminals back onto the streets, U.S. government documents show.
Homeland Security’s deportation agency has filed several petitions asking the State Department to take steps to punish recalcitrant countries, including the ultimate punishment of denying visas to visitors from those countries. But the department has failed to follow through on the plain language in federal law, saying it doesn’t want to anger foreign governments by withholding the visas.
In the meantime, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) is forced to release the immigrants, many of whom go on to commit further serious crimes. The recidivism rate is 30 percent or higher for criminal aliens released from detention.
And the backlog is growing: Some 35,000 immigrants with criminal records are awaiting deportation back to Cuba, while the number of migrants awaiting deportation to China stands at 1,900, ICE said in documents provided to the House Oversight Committee, after questioning by GOP Chairman Jason Chaffetz and ranking Democrat Rep. Elijah E. Cummings.
The two lawmakers are demanding the State Department explain why it has refused to deny visas or block funding to recalcitrant countries, as the law requires.

The current rate of active TB among resettled refugees in Vermont, therefore, is approximately 250 times greater than it is among the general population of the state, based on those assumptions.

The Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment admits that sixteen refugees were diagnosed with active TB between 2011 and 2014. The admission comes one month after Breitbart News reported ten recently arrived refugees in Colorado were diagnosed with active tuberculosis (TB). Between 2011 and 2014, 16 out of 7,754 refugees were diagnosed with active TB at the time of their initial medical screening. Refugees resettled in Colorado developed active TB at a rate 138 times higher than U.S.-born residents of Colorado.
