I am probably one of the longest standing atheists on this board, been an atheist for over 30 years. I would no more burn a Bible than I would Grimm's Fairtales. Both are interesting works with some neat stories in them. But I don't believe either so I feel no need to be threatened by them or afraid of them. The same goes for the Qu'ran. The is no place in the philosophy that has made america great for burning books. Our philosophy gives you the freedom to do so, but I agree with others that say that burning books goes against everything our founders believed. I may not agree with you burning books, but I will defend you in court if you get prosecuted for it.
