This is about what I expect out of a CIC. You clearly have lower standards. That's fine; we disagree about how a CIC should react at a time like that, when America is under attack.

As it turns out, he couldn't have done much. But I have already said that, and answered a few iterations of the above question.

I guess my question would be, why do you keep asking essentially the same question?

Because all you've interjected is what you FEEL he should have done, without showing that he could have done anything to prevent the ongoing situation from playing out.

Never before in history have airlines been used to crash into skyscrapers; so why should the probability of it occurring TWICE have even been considered and what action should President Bush have taken, that would have prevented either one?

I keep asking; because all you've done is complain about what you FEEL he should have done and appear to be basing those FEELINGS on absolutely nothing of any substance.
 
Not sure why you're putting "FEEL" in caps, as though it's an emotional thing.

Every reasonable American should want their President to at the very minimum be curious when he hears the nation is under attack - but as CIC, he needs to excuse himself from that classroom. It need not panic anyone - he can be polite & calm about doing it. But he's CIC, and the nation was under attack.

"My Pet Goat" brings out the inner Bush apologist in every rightie. It's not a debate. It's a minimum expectation of a CIC.
