It has to do with the fact that our country has not been lily-white in its dealings with people, anymore than Muslims have. And that blaming the Qur'an for ME terrorism is no different from blaming the Bible for what happened here.

I don't mean this as a smart-ass comment but have you ever read about any American atrocities in our history, for example terrorists like the Glanton gang?

I don't think he needed to cut short his trip; but it's his demeanor of what..."no big deal, ISIS isn't an existential threat" coupled with the last Tango in Argentina ,and a quick interview on ESPN that is really shitty optics

You flick on the television and there he is, Dancing the Tango in Argentina. (I LOVE IT) Its exactly the image I want the ISIS leaders to see, they are a fly speck on the wall of history. They cant even interrupt the President of the United States from his Tango lesson!


Now, I hope and believe that behind the scenes Obama is having meetings and on the phone directing a strong response, but the optics should show him dancing the Tango all day!
