No, the Benghazi hearings were purely a political matter to begin with. The death of a US ambassador--an event that hadn't happened in decades-- needed investigation by the government because it was a government matter. A civil distrubance / riot is a criminal matter, not a political one. The Democrats turned that into a political one even as it wasn't. The committee is a show trial and nothing more.

I said it's a trial, or more specifically, a show trial. Definition-wise, I am supported in that. You called it a "hearing." I showed that a hearing and a trial are the same thing.
