If tapes exist, as the President has suggested,

Allen is wrong. And he was wrong at the eighth circuit losing the same argument. The potus does not have the constitutional right to do a constitutional act by committing a crime. Sorry. Nobody is above the law. He can fire you, but he can't commit a firing by rape, or arson, or incest or theft, or burglary or torture or .......obstruction of justice. He can't use illegal means with improper motive to do a constitutional act. He can launch world war three, but he can't do it by shooting the secret service guy in the face and eating his brain first. He can appoint a justice, but he can't do it by taking a bribe.

Note the distinction. Trump is going down.

He has the authority to fire the Director of the FBI, he does not have the authority to fire the director of the FBI because he wants to protect himself from investigation.

You didn't read, "suggested" that there might be are tapes, "Comey better hope there are no tapes...,' and at a later date wouldn't confirm if there were or weren't tapes, “I’ll tell you about that maybe sometime in the near future," the same refusal to answer that Spicer repeated twice to direct questions

"sometime in the near future."

Would that be the same 'near-future' that he's going to produce his evidence that Obama doesn't have a birth certificate .. or the same near future that he's going to produce his evidence of massive voter fraud?

Excuse me but Dershowitz knows constitutional law far better than just about anybody, you're the one who is always saying that expert opinion should be trusted!

Yes, that's the same "near future". The one where he is going to sue the women who accused him of sexual attack, and the one where his wife is going to give a press conference about her immigration status.

Even Constitutional Law Professors can be wrong. This is why we have a Court and Judges.
Yeah you cling to that belief, he is 100% right. What's more he has said that for him it is a point of principle and he's lost friends over it.

You have the temerity to call for evidence lol?

It's insane, but in all this Russia collusion tin hat parade, there is evidence of only ONE crime: the felonious unmasking of private citizens by some entities or entities within the IC or beyond.

And nobody, gives a crap. Or maybe Mueller will surprise me.

whatever happened to all those women who accused him of sexual attack?
Oh that's right they melted back into the woodwork, because it was all bogus to begin with.

Yeah that's most odd seeing that we were told that there were so many women therefore they must be believed.

Ohh, the DEEP STATE, its after me... the amorphous cause of all of Rumps ills. the misty figure lurking in the swamp created to blame all Republican ills on.

Face it, dudes, Trump made it up. There are no tapes or big mouth would be talking about them. If you haven't learned to understand that Trump is a pathological liar, then you haven't been paying attention.

More recently, however, Trump seems to have had a habit of making a different play — of bluffing that he has tapes that will supposedly prove him right in some dispute or another, in an effort to get his opponent to back down.

For instance, two New York Times reporters who covered the 2016 presidential campaign have separate accounts of Trump claiming that he was misquoted in a story and insisting that he had a tape to back him up. In both cases, the reporters say, Trump curiously failed to produce the tape.

Oh comeON, no American president would do that, just make something up on the fly because it suites them @ the time.... Surely not more than a few dozen times in their first couple months in office...:whome:
