Allen is wrong. And he was wrong at the eighth circuit losing the same argument. The potus does not have the constitutional right to do a constitutional act by committing a crime. Sorry. Nobody is above the law. He can fire you, but he can't commit a firing by rape, or arson, or incest or theft, or burglary or torture or .......obstruction of justice. He can't use illegal means with improper motive to do a constitutional act. He can launch world war three, but he can't do it by shooting the secret service guy in the face and eating his brain first. He can appoint a justice, but he can't do it by taking a bribe.
Note the distinction. Trump is going down.
He has the authority to fire the Director of the FBI, he does not have the authority to fire the director of the FBI because he wants to protect himself from investigation.
