If God were real, you wouldn’t need a book

Human sacrifice needed to save your soul. That god was unable to simply forgive without murdering Christ. Weird fucking concept.

It’s not a “free gift” because you have to give up something for it - critical thinking.
Did Jesus send you a bill for Salvation?
 
How is this not the same as a mob boss saying "You can pay me, but no one is forcing you. If you don't then bad things might happen to you. It's your choice." ?

Not to be overly offensive but in many ways, especially for brands of Christianity that contain a literal torment in hell clause for failure to achieve salvation it kind of feels like that.

Ask yourself: if you had a single choice; no free will OR a really good chance of eternal punishment in abject horror and pain.

Which would YOU choose? I'd give up free will for 74 or so years if it meant not facing the opportunity to be tormented forever.
At the end of 74 years ,then what?
