I am interested in your opinions before Trump does it, because I know once he has done it, certain posters will defend it to their death.

Does Manafort deserve a pardon and if so why?

Of course not, he's a white collar crook. But, I would guess Trump would Pardon him to give a 'signal' to everybody else.

I predict they will say that Trump has every right to pardon Manafort. It isn't against the Constitution. Etc.

Honestly haven't followed the case close enough to know the detailed basis of the charges. The bank fraud ones are the only ones I really think there is clear culpability on based on what I do know of them from bullet point synopsis in the media.

i say yes, because I think people that hide money from the government are heros. I love people that get away with hiding taxes.

plus, it will trigger the left and I hate liberals.

however I wont say he deserves it. but it would be cool if he got one.

The problem for him from my perspective isn't the tax issue. It is the lying on mortgage applications to get bigger loans than he otherwise could get. We had a guy go to prison locally for 5 years for conflating his business receipts in order to obtain a huge loan he defaulted on pretty quick by using other companies he owned to place fake orders and such to flood his accountings with what looked like real transactions.

Absolutely yes. The whole "investigation" is unlawful and illegitimate, therefore all indictments and convictions are unlawful and illegitimate. Manafort will own Muller in a couple years

No need to...Manafort will be acquitted this afternoon if the jury doesn't deadlock first

At which point, it will be a domino effect for the Mueller investigation -- its all over with for anyone thinking Trump would be damaged by this

By the way, Manafort definitely committed tax fraud and tried to sell WH influence -- its just unfair for this to be found out thru Mueller's investigation --- Just like it was unfair to put Bill Clinton into a position to lie about an affair because of the Whitewater investigation, oh wait.

Manafort needs to trade that ostrich skin jacket, for some prison wear?!! If the orange clown pardons Manafort, they should look at taking the power to pardon away from POTUS! Manafort committed a crime and should pay the price for it!

Your prediction is noted.
