Idaho wants to make it illegal for schools to teach students how to think critically

To the question you pose: My answer would be It depends. There is no consistent pattern for why Native Americans ended up on reservations. Some did because they were nomadic hunter-gatherer tribes that otherwise would have simply disappeared in a technologically advanced and settled world. The plains tribes are an example. Others did because they too were nomadic but chose to use raiding and looting as their means to survive. The Apache and Seminoles are probably the best examples.
Some just got screwed by racism and greed like the Cherokee. Then there are the Great Lakes and Eastern tribes that regularly took sides with the Europeans in wars. When those tribes were on the losing side they got treated the way losing nations did in Europe and elsewhere. They lost land and were mistreated by the victors. That's not unusual behavior at the time and certainly not particularly motivated by racism.
Some areas that were incorporated into the US later like the Southwest saw the more agrarian tribes like the Navajo or Hopi simply given a land area that was both reservation and traditional land.
Throughout much of this, sure there was racism but it wasn't something unique to Europeans. The various tribes could be equally racist towards other tribes on the basis of language, culture, etc.
The problem today is that the Left wants a narrative that it was just Whites and Europeans that were racist, evil, mendacious, or whatever. They're full of shit and don't know history.
That is false. These assumptions and generalizations are really pathetic.

Most are not close to being accurate.

Perhaps you should return to your brilliant summary of President Biden’s 24.8 minutes speech to congress last night.

Like Israelis do, T.A.Gardner has a policy of blaming the victims. It's a fascist trait.

Then prove it, because even something as basic as Wiki says you don't know what the hell you're talking about.

Idaho lawmakers pushed through a bill that would bar schools from teaching about racism.

Some GOP lawmakers said discussions about racism are teaching kids to "hate their country," the Idaho Statesman reported.

Students, however, said the discussions on racism don't teach them to hate their country but instead allow them to have a more clear and accurate understanding of the US's history. That understanding, they said, is key so that wrongs can be corrected.

They are freaking out about non whitewashed history being taught

Now if we troll posters to think at all we would be on to something.

You have it backwards, and my post was dead on, try to be honest and admit it! The Democrats have been selling you a bill of goods, with no goods, they talk a good game, and then use people like sharpton and jackson to stir the pot when people start asking questions!

You have it backwards, Sharpton and Jackson use black tragedies to benefit and profit themselves.
They don't give a crap about the party, just like Dotard.................grifters.

You think teabaggers (www.teaparty.org) give a fuck about you?
Teabaggers (www.teaparty.org) wanted to give everyone a tax break in the CARES act, instead of $1200.
Teabaggers (www.teaparty.org) give you crumbs while giving millionaires, billions.

Wrong, you don't know WTF you're talking about, it doesn't depend.

The US military were fighting and killing American Indians for much of the 18th century, trying to seize their land.

President Andrew Jackson signed the Indian removal act in 1830, forcing the Cherokee and Seminole tribes to Oklahoma reservations.

Governors of states and territories followed suit.

THAT'S a consistent pattern.

NOMADS? LOL.

That headed straight to reservations?

The result of too many GOPers in Idaho indulging in crack cocaine, domestic terrorism and insurrectionist culture, meth, incest and their type of air head insanity at being a terrible legislative atrocity on that State and the nation, and that needs help from the incompetence of the derangement syndrome that exists there.

Yep, that’s my home state. Full of rubes.

I've said it before and I'll say it agian.

If the future potato farmers of America remain ignorant, we'll still have fries, I guess.

Idaho. People actually live there. Unfuckingbelievable, but Maine can't grow all the potato supply.

They're busy with lobsters, too.
