Trump is alleging that Ms. Fields assaulted him.

BTW Lewandowski's attorney might bite you...just sayin'.
 
He might get off, because it looks fairly minimal and a jury hates to be called in on something minimal, but technically the guy is guilty.

Simple Battery in Florida is an unwanted touching, or a touching that causes physical harm (bruses).

I prosecuted a spitting battery case and got the guy convicted.
 
Jarod, how solid are these charges? The images appear to show he is guilty. Since you are a local there, do you have any information the rest of us don't have?

Only in that I know the specific law and prosecuted this type of case in the same office that is charging him.
 
Technically the guy appears on tape touching her in an unwanted way... thats Battery.

Would a jury convict him, I dont know.

I think that if he wants a trial it should be given to him and that assuming a person is guilty instead of innocent is wrong.

I dont even think he should be fired because that would mean he is being punished just for the accusation without due process.

I mean i get that there is a tape and you want to convict based on that but there have been other instances in the past where people have been cought on tape too and due process is still given to them.
 
I'm curious.....the original claim was that he grabbed her and threw her to the ground........did anyone see her on the ground in the video?......
