I.R.S. Acknowledges Black Americans Face More Audit Scrutiny

They probably cheat on their taxes more but hey, since we are giving them reparations we might as well not make them pay taxes either.

In fact we should probably allow them to own white slaves also.

How stupid. The ones who cheat the most are the wealthy and corporations. It is an industry unto itself. The truth is the IRS audits middle-class taxpayers the most. Their taxes are much easier to audit. Auditing a tax cheat like Trump requires a large staff. The process is expensive and time-consuming.

I was audited two years ago for my 387 dollar refund and it took me a year to get my money.

This is not a black problem

This is not a black problem

There you go again, showing you do not understand an incident does not prove the case. The fact is as I said, the middle gets the most audits. I agree that blacks do not get the most audits, but is is certainly not because you waited for 400 bucks.
I don't think your case was an audit at all. An audit is a rigorous process with you showing every record, including kids' birth certificates. You have to prove everything on your return, line by line. When you go through an audit, you do not whine about waiting for a return.
That also proves nothing about whether the IRS concentrates on blabs unfairly. Your logic is sorely lacking.

You might as you consider this remember some of the other claims the Regime has made.

We are swamped in Anti-Truth now.

Thats a problem.

I wonder how that happens. Seriously, not being sarcastic here. Is it by name? Because my family has some unique names... maybe I should prepare. ;)

Car insurance companies can be more sure about a customer's race than about any other fact about the customer, even though they are not allowed to ask about the customer's race. It is mostly zip code, with some social-economic status thrown in. Zip code segregation in America is amazingly sharp.

It is not uncommon for a 22 year old in Ohio with a drinking and driving conviction to have their insurance in their 75 year old Florida grandmother's name. The insurance company has the wrong age, gender, state, conviction history, etc. of the real customer. On the other hand, a Black living in a 99% zip code of East Saint Louis would be very unlikely to have his insurance in the name of a White in Westchester NY.

The corporations are protected so the scrutiny appears to be focused upon Earned Income Tax Credit filers. Specifically “low-to-moderate-income workers”.

The link below indicates African-Americans are audited 3 to 5 times above average. Since African-Americans, on average, make a lot less than Euro-Americans, it fits that they are more likely to use EITC.

IMO, this doesn’t mean the IRS is racist. They’re simply following the laws set by the corporate-owned, Euro-American male upper class Congress.

Specifically, he vowed to examine algorithms for audits of filers claiming the earned income tax credit, or EITC, a tax break to low- to moderate-income workers. The EITC is more closely scrutinized because it’s refundable, meaning it still provides a refund even when the credit value exceeds taxes owed. Werfel stressed the IRS does not and will not consider race as part of the audit selection process, but the original research suggests the EITC has contributed to the disparity
