I predict Pelosi will call a press conference today or tomorrow

now that Trump finally admitted he colluded with Russia Pelosi needs to get the impeachment investigation GOING!

Page 173 V I: Ultimately, the investigation did not establish that the Campaign coordinated or conspired with the Russian government in its election-interference activities.

Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein and I have concluded that the evidence developed during the Special Counsel's investigation is not sufficient to establish that the President committed an obstruction-of-justice offense.

special prosecutors cannot indict a sitting president

what part of that don't you get hon?

Then why in the hell did we have an investigation in the first place then?

Indeed, thanks, TD.

Two things

1) When he said that indicting a sitting President is unconstitutional. It is not. It is DOJ policy, but it has never been deemed unconstitutional

2) When he said if we thought Trump was innocent we would have said it. That turned hundreds of years of jurisprudence on its head.

Innocent until proven guilty.

But, in the end Mueller really fucked over democrats

Idiot, prosecutors often think people are guilty before they are convicted. Even when they can’t charge them. Innocent until proven guilty means you can’t be PUNISHED until proven guilty.

Did you know that 1000’s of people are held in jail before being proven guilty?

Mueller merely explained to people what was in the report because the rightys, and most of leftys, did not read it. It was being distorted by Barr and the right. He only gave a clear reading of what they did and did not find, and what they could and could not do. It still has been beyond the rightys to understand.
Mueller said clearly and simply that he did not have the power to prosecute a sitting president.
He did say that Trump was not free from house investigation in obstructive elements that the report enumerated. He did not say Trump should be impeached. However, any patriotic American would want the obstruction cleared up.If rightys really want justice they should be backing house investigations. You do believe that he will be found pure as the driven snow, don't you?
Fact is even rightys know what Trump is, they just want him to get away with it.

The wicked witch of the West is between a rock and a hard place. Impeach-a loss of Biblical proportions in 2020. No impeachment-her party splinters and a civil war among Democrats of Biblical proportions.

I predict she will devolve further into senility and insanity.

Says who? Is there a law?

And if that is the case and everyone knew that going in, why have a Special Counsel investigate the President in the first place? Mueller couldn't find anything out that Congress couldn't.

The questions don't get easier puddin

You are wrong. It is why we say "alleged" and not that someone did it. The burden is placed on the accuser to prove the accusations. It is not on the individual to prove their innocence.

It is like saying Biden is a pedophile and he has to prove he isn't. That isn't how justice works in this country. Muller is a scumbag. But he proved that long ago with Whitey Bulger

I doubt it will ever begin. Nancy doesn't have the cajones. But I hope she does cave to the lunatics in the Party of the Jackass. Most are just as brain dead as you are.

Why could Mueller not indict? Its called the RULE OF LAW, the US CONSTITUTION and the BILL OF RIGHTS. What makes anyone think that Congress can do what Mueller was prohibited via the rule of law from doing? That's why an impeachment is a political process with NO TEETH. Name one POTUS that has ever been removed from office via impeachment. ONE....even those who (unlike Mr. Trump) was actually charged with a crime like Nixon and Blow Job Bill. But you expect Mr. Trump will be removed from office when there is not one single crime that can be proven beyond doubt? Really? Nixon was not removed via impeachment (he quit) even though he was charged with the crime of wiretapping and illegal surveillance.....Clinton was not removed even though he was actually convicted of a felony...LYING UNDER OATH (Mr.Trump never lied under oath, Mr. Trump was never under oath)…..there was no indictment by Mueller because Mueller could not indict. :bigthink:

Do you really expect Mr. Trump to rush over to the HILL and testify under oath and perjury himself without invoking executive privilege? Nixon was not allowed to hide behind executive privilege because (unlike Mueller)…..Nixon was charged with a crime. Name the CRIME that Mueller found Mr. Trump to have committed? He could not indict and convict for obstruction because Mr. Trump does have and continues to have the right of EXECUTIVE PRIVILEGE. And even if Congress find that Mr. Trump did obstruct the Mueller investigation......what did he OBSTRUCT an investigation that was predicated with no probable cause of a crime ever having been committed. So Trump obstructed a FAKE INVESTIGATION. Kick his as to the curb....IF YOU CAN.

It doesn't matter what they THINK snowflake. What matters is that one should actually have a crime before one investigates. The Constitution requires it and the LAW demands the presumption of innocence.

What a dumb Fascistic comment. But it is expected from Fascistic leftists who want to diminish our nation, impugn our institutions and turn this country into a lawless third world shit hole.

It's still not a defense for the buffoonish efforts by the morons on the Democratic side of the aisle. But then, morons love setting precedents that come back to bite them in the ass in the future.

Did you know that 1000’s of people are held in jail before being proven guilty?

You apparently don't know that first, a crime had been committed. You're not a lawyer. Your arguments are weak and moronic.

WRONG; Mueller was attempting to justify spending $40 million in taxpayer money for what has become a massive hoax concocted by Obama holdovers in the JD.

There is a reason Mueller will not testify about anything beyond what is in the report. A severe questioning would expose him for the hack he most definitely is and the fact that he MILKED the taxpayers for all he could in order to find NOTHING.

Impeachment for what ????

The Mueller report listed many examples of Trump obstruction that the House should follow up.
From the report, which you did not read. "Under analysis, Congress can permissibly criminalize certain conduct by the president, such as suborning perjury, intimidating witnesses or fabricating evidence, because those prohibitions raise no separation of powers questions."
There are more in other parts of the report.
Trump is a liar and a crook.
