I paid $2.69 for gas today!

Lucky you haha ... Gas is currently 2.79 up by me (one station dropped to like 2.74 or something like that)

Gas prices here are finally down to roughly as high as they ever reached during the entirety of Trump's term.

I guess liberals are now wetting their panties in excitement over this particular price point, even though they were bitching incessantly about this very same price point during Trump's term... and this was the "maxed out price" during a small bit of Trump's term (most of his term saw $2/gal prices (give or take a quarter)... and most of Biden's term has seen prices over $3.30/gal ... WELL over that in certain areas of the country.
Texas is typically cheaper than most states. Texas has the 44th lowest state gas tax. 20 cents California has 77.9 cents We bought fuel at a Kroger station yesterday and got a discount of $1.00 a gallon from the pump price of $2.39 so we ended up paying 1.39 a gallon. I wished they would sell diesel for my truck.

... but you pay for electricity instead... and paid more for an EV... and you pay more to have your EV serviced/maintained... etc...

I paid more for my truck but then again I bought a man's vehicle not a toy battery powered car. I did buy my grandson two toy battery powered cars yesterday though.

It's much cheaper to pay for electricity than gas. EVs require much less maintenance than gas cars.
EVs are cheaper to run, cheaper to maintain and perform much better than gas cars. It's worth the extra cost at purchase.

Want to race me across Texas? We can stipulate we must adhere to posted speed limits. Next?

Nah, I already know my Tesla Model Y would embarrass your little gas car.

Are EVs as fast as fuel cars?
Many people associate power with the deep sound of revving engines and mistake EVs’ silence to mean they are lacking in speed and performance. In fact, the opposite is true. EVs accelerate faster than gas-powered cars and have more than enough speed for every-day usage.

The reason for this is that electric motors are much simpler than internal combustion engines. Therefore, EVs can provide full torque — the force that drives the vehicle forward — from 0 kilometers, resulting in instant acceleration. In comparison, traditional combustion engines take longer to get engine-generated power to the wheels and might need to rev up in order to reach maximum torque. With traditional fuel cars, the power also has to go through more moving parts, like the gearbox, making them less efficient.

ExcessLies loss again.

Biden seems to have control went gas prices go up, according the Magatards.
Yes, because it was HIS specific EO that caused gas prices to go up. That's on HIM because HE did it... well, I guess it's actually Obama doing it, but it's happening through the shell of a body known as Biden.

Keep on preachin' that salesman's pitch! ;)

I noticed he didn't accept the challenge...
Even if he added his driving time to his charging time he would lose because I have extended range tanks that take about 10-15 minutes to fill at a truck stop. I can get across Texas in one refill and it will take him 3 or more. My home town where I grew up is Orange Texas and El Paso is 860 miles away. I can do that easily in one 15 minute pit stop. I would suspect he would need a minimum of 2 to 3.

You win...;) and if both of you have trouble and have to call AAA .. you win again... if both of your neighbors need a jump in the morning to start their car? You win again.. I can go on like this forever but I guess you know that...

And I could do it while pulling my 5th wheel camping trailer (with washer and dryer) :rofl2:
I believe it.. I'm really not sure why anyone would want what's basically a little toy car... it looks like I mentioned you really don't have to go anywhere but to the store...people have them here... but they're usually complaining about something...lol... of course here we are 10 minutes from anything... I still have no desire whatsoever to have one... totally impractical...
