I paid $0.00 for gas today.
I paid $0.00 for gas yesterday. In fact, I paid $0.00 for gas every day for the last 2 1/2 years. You see, I drive an EV.
So fuck Iran. Fuck Venezuela. Fuck Russia. Fuck the strategic oil reserve.
Oh, and fuck you, ExcessLies.

None of the leases that were revoked by Obama or Biden were on land where there was drilling happening. They were, in the case of Obama, leases taken away on undeveloped land or, in the case of Biden, leases not offered for new locations. It takes years and years for a new piece land to actually produce oil. There are permits, surveys, checks for impact on nature, etc. None of the leases that were pulled were on sites where drilling was actively happening.

I also remember when liberals were screaming to the high heavens about gas prices being soooooo high during one short part of Trump's term when they got up to roughly as high as they are right now... but weren't screaming when they got up to over $4/gallon during Biden's term (much higher in other areas, such as CA, where over $7/gal or higher was more like it).

Gas prices here are finally down to roughly as high as they ever reached during the entirety of Trump's term.

I guess liberals are now wetting their panties in excitement over this particular price point, even though they were bitching incessantly about this very same price point during Trump's term... and this was the "maxed out price" during a small bit of Trump's term (most of his term saw $2/gal prices (give or take a quarter)... and most of Biden's term has seen prices over $3.30/gal ... WELL over that in certain areas of the country.

Presidents can have an effect on global oil supply which has and effect the price of oil. Which has an effect on the price of gasoline.
