IF WE AGREE THAT THE PRE-MEDITATED, SYSTEMATIC KILLING OF 6 MILLION JEWS - THE MAJORITY OF WHOM WERE - as we are told - POISONED TO DEATH WITH CYANIDE GAS IN PURPOSE-BUILT CAS CHAMBERS LOCATED WITHIN SEVERAL GERMAN (NAZI)) CONCENTRATION CAMPS WAS A GENOCIDAL EVENT THEN. YOU NEED TO UNDERSTAND THAT IT WAS A TRAGEDY WOULD MOST PROBLY WOULD NOT HAVE TAKEN PLACE WERE IT NOT FOR A GROUP OF AMERICAN ELITES WHO PROVIDED THE INTELLECTUAL FOUNDATION AND SCIENTIFIC JUSTIFICATIONS FOR THE NAZI'S "FINAL SOLUTION."
Here's a brief overview of what happened....
In the early decades of the 20th century Eugenics and related race science proclaimed themselves to have a solution ( if not a solution, then a means to radically and efficiently reduce) to the perennial problem of social pathologies, such as "feeblemindedness" (low IQ); epilepsy, "manic depression" (i.e. Bipolar disorder) alcoholism (and drug abuse); promiscuous and/or degenerate sexual behaviour, the blight of prostitution, crime (violent and property); pathologically deficient self - control/self-discipline ; congenital medical disorders like deafness, blindness, severe "Learning Disorders" Down's Syndrome, dwarfism and gross bodily deformities, etc, etc. These conditions were said to be the result of "BAD GENES" (in todays language, and the American Eugenics Movement was dedicated to the task of how best to remove "BAD GENES" for the American "GENE POOl," before they could be passed on the the offspring of parents who were genetically "unfit." and detract from the social quality of future generations. With regard to race, science and Eugenics during their Golden Years in America ( the 1920s and 1930s) it was taken as axiomaric that the coloured races were genetically inferior to the White Nordic race/s, and the darker the skin, the more pronounced was the degree of genetic inferiority. The leaders of the American Eugenic Movement received extensive funding for their work from various corporate foundations, like the Carnegie Institute, the Rockefeller Foundation and the Harriman railroad fortune These men were members of the elite social classes in America..Madison Grant one of the foremost Eugenic scholars of his time was an American Blue-Blood and enthusiastic "Gentleman Conservationist."
Many prominent and highly respected leaders of the various branches of the overal Eugenics movement in America were also extremely influential political lobbyists. The Founding Father of the Eugenics movement in the US was Madison Grant. His text on Eugenic Science entitled "The Passing of the Great Race" published in 1916 provided the intellectual foundation and springboard for the movement. Grant's work was critical in the passing of the Johnson - Reed Act in Congress. This legislation encouraged the immigration of native white Nordic races to America (NB: the Nordic races are those people native to Western and/or Northern Europe) while sharply curbing the intake of non-Nordic foreign immigrants.
In the mid-1920s while he was serving time in Landsberg prison for leading a failed coup d'etat in Munich, a corporal named Adolph Hitler included references to Madison's "Passing" as well as the work of other American race scientists. In the 1930 he sent fan-mail to Madisison Grant from Germany, tell grant that "The Passing" was his "Bible" and that he kept a copy of the text on his bedside table to read every night. Hitler also sent fan mail to other leading American race scientists/eugenicists, such as Leon Whitney, for instance, the Executive Secretary of the American Eugenics Society.
The NAZIs did have their own their own race scientists and Eugenics specialist, but they clearly acknowledged that the American were the masters of these fields, and looked to them and their work for guidance and inspiration.
After the Nurember trial of 1946 exposed the colloddal magnitude of the Holocaust and other race crimes to the world, Americas foremost Eugenics advocate magically morphed into a collection of Sergeant Schultz -type figures.... I KNOW NOTHING - I SEE NOTHING !!" Any reference to American race science/Eugenics was also magically erased from every biology, history, political text in the academy and from every high school text book
. The fact that American intellectuals/race scientists/Eugenicists had laid the conceptual foundations and scientific justifications for the NAZI holocaust had to "disappeared" and "disappeared VERY fast. The fact that Americans had played a crucial role in aiding and abetting "The Final Solution" was a "Truth that dared not Speak its Name".
