I can't believe we don't already do this

refugees haven't committed terrorists attacks in the U.S. nor have anyone from the country's we are vetting but it's still an excellent idea right...
you don't know what may have been prevented. Obama started to do this on a voluntary basis from"the 7 countries"
The problem with those countries is they have no ability/desire to work with Customs -and the travelers/refugees lack documentation, or the documentation is unreliable.
It's simply another layer of ability to see a true picture of whom is wanting into the USA.

There is mo reason not to do it -and many reasons to do it where documentation itself is unreliable/sketchy.

Did you know ISIS has a passport printing press in Syria?

ISIS have created an entire fake passport 'industry' using documents stolen in Iraq, Libya and Syria, warn French officials

*French officials say ISIS has managed to set up 'industry of fake passports'
*France now wants a task force to travel to Greece as part of a clamp down
*At least two ISIS terrorists involved in Paris attack travelled to France using fake Syrian passports

the wife was from Pakistan, I don't see them on the list. We going to start asking the password of every immigrant who comes to this country now??

same fucking vetting process......I don't care if you see them on the list or not.......why the fuck wouldn't we ask the passwords of every immigrant who comes into this country, starting with the seven countries where people are at war with people who would like to see us dead.......is that such a big thing to ask?......oh, you want to come here?.....we want to see what you post on facebook.....we want to see who's twitters you follow.......

people who've been through our fucking wonderful vetting process have committed terrorist attacks in the US and killed Americans......should we take a look at our fucking wonderful vetting process?......

We are vetting refugees, not all immigrants. No refugees have committed terrorists acts here. And if we are going to ask for social media passwords for all immigrants and visitors of this country then our economy will go to hell.

"I was going to come to America as a fake refugee to commit terrorism but then I stopped when I found out I had to give them my Facebook password because, you know, that's the only way I can communicate." Said no one

maybe that's why the government should have a role in vetting too.......because the terrorist might not stop on his own.......I know that's a big step....asking a federal employee to actually do something......but hey, its a whole new world out there.......

and you're complaining because we are vetting refugees.......and we need to make sure no refugees commit terrorist acts here, like others who passed our previous lame ass vetting process did.......and you're an idiot if you think asking refugees for their social media passwords will have any impact at all on our economy......is that some stupid throw away meme you found in your toilet after a good dump?.......have you even given any thought to that statement?......how is asking Achmed for his twitter records going to shatter our job growth and cause the stock market to crash?......

Just to venture a guess, maybe to see if they are fans of militant jihad?
You need to go study the immigration and visa process. Then you need go study the Declaration of Indedence. You have to understand that most of us are not crippled with the religious bigotry you suffer from nor are we cowards afraid of anything that is different and most of us understand that true American patriotism is emblazoned in our national motto which truly expresses the true American love of our country. E. Pluribus Unum. From many one.

The intellectual, social and cultural isolation and inbreeding you propose is not only cowardly and unpatriotic it also simply wouldn't work. It's just not the American way. Never has been.

Good point, their country isn't on the so called president's ban list..:palm:

"their country isn't on the president's ban list" doesn't fucking matter.......its a good point because the vetting we've done in the past is worthless.......why use it on refugees now?.......why not just say "special deal on terrorists!.....Two admitted for the price of one!......bring your own C4"........

Your desire to cut off immigration and not allow the free travel of people is what's going to harm out econony. This act isn't about safety it's about Muslims. You don't want Muslims here. And this ban has already caused business deals to be lost and dampening affects on international business.

Pages, yeah. Private messages not so much. See who they've been talking to etc.

So your saying a person has no expectation or a right to privacy because they are not a citizen? Again, you need to read the Constitution. Even non-citizens have both privacy and due process of law rights in our country and yes our founding fathers intended that to be the case.

gosh its a shame we can't have free travel just because Islamic terrorists want to kill a few people......I mean, really, Paris and Berlin haven't had any problems because of free travel, why should we?.......
