HW dead

94 years old. Expected. Life goes on. Not sad. Not happy. Indifferent.

Tho I am reminded of this little gem he put out there:

"I don't know that Atheists should be considered citizens or patriots. This is one nation under God."
--George HW Bush Sr.

well there is that..I am still a little sentimental enough to think the CIA were the good guys back then.
Don't mind the de-stabilizations and assassinations though

I think the Deep State Creeps put on their show for Trump, but not for the globalist anti-Commies of the Bush days

its idiotic Russian propaganda silly putty dupe

he also said:

"Please don't ask me to do that which I've just said I'm not going to do, because you're burning up time. The meter is running through the sand on you, and I am now filibustering." —in 1989

oh I forgot his wife died already

Poppy Bush did some great bits, should've worked the Comedy Store

"You cannot be President of the United States if you don't have faith. Remember Lincoln, going to his knees in times of trial and the Civil War and all that stuff. You can't be. And we are blessed. So don't feel sorry for – don't cry for me, Argentina. Message: I care." —speaking to employees of an insurance company during the 1992 New Hampshire primary

"I've told you I don't live and die by the polls. Thus I will refrain from pointing out that we're not doing too bad in those polls." –in 1991

"I'm not the most articulate emotionalist." –in 1989

"We Bushes cry easily." –in 1989

"Let me give you a little serious political advice. One single word. Puppies. Worth the points." —in 1990

I wish his family the best.

He was a man who loved America and did his best for our nation.

I do not think I could hate a man who vomits in the lap of the Japanese prime minister. That was comedy gold!

In my opinion, things that Poppy should be held in esteem for:

He recognized how preposterous Bedtime for Bonzo's voodoo economics were, and took modest steps to fix the fiscal disaster Saint Ronnie caused. Although Clinton gets credit for restoring the fiscal budget back to sanity, I think Poppy set things in motion and played a role in it.

For a modern Republican, Poppy was pretty forward thinking and enlightened on environmental protection. I think he accepted science and expertise in a way today's wingnuts do not, and I do not think he would have been a global warming denier/conspiracy theorist

Enjoy the journey, Poppy! .

"It has been said by some cynic, maybe it was a former president, 'If you want a friend in Washington, get a dog.' Well, we took them literally—that advice—as you know. But I didn't need that because I have Barbara Bush." —in 1989

he was a decent man

he said "ready my lips , no new taxes"

then he raised taxes when the NATION needed him to do it

he was the only republican to place nation over party in my lifetime

Dipshit
Name me one president that hasn’t been criticized for a decision made.
Name me one president that hasn’t made a decision that could be an error in judgment.
Name me one president that made a decision were 100% of the people agreed with.
There are too many assholes like you with an agenda.

All democrat party Presidents are flawless. Just ask JPP leftists
