A war criminal who was the person the most guilty for the first war against Iraq.

For the exact same phony reason that Bush2 arranged the second Iraq war.

Which makes Bush2 a war criminal too, the same as the elder.
 
Kuwait was successful interventionism because it had a mission without regime change backed by most of the world

It was based on lies and US deceptions and it was solely for the US purpose of gaining control over the entire ME. It was the beginning of the agenda that became the PNAC. Educate yourself by starting to learn how April Glaspie was used to cause the deception and the setup of Saddam.

? it looks like your giving out reasons why the first iraq war was succesful ? we were able to use it to gain control of the me at no long term cost.

hw should be applauded for that.

Didn't Saddam invade Kuwait, and threaten Saudi Arabia?

Odd losing Bush and McCain in the same year.

I think you got your Gulf wars mixed up. This was Gulf war 1.
Part but not all of it was a result of Iraq owing creditors, bad economy etc from the Iran-Iraq war. here.

With a tanking economy and decreasing oil revenue, resulting from an increase in his Arab neighbours’ oil production that deflated prices, Saddam was under increasing pressure to act.
When he failed to get his Arab creditors to relieve Iraq’s debt burden through diplomacy, and with increasing whispers in Baghdad of a potential military coup against him, Saddam needed a show of strength and a distraction for his army all at once. He needed another war.
