I would have called it a nice gesture had it come from anyone but trump except the only gestures he makes are those that have something in it for him, dude.

I guess that's true, but the child is suffering immensely and it seems the parents want to prolong the suffering for some reason. Incurable and painful. The experts tried to tell them it was cruel to keep a vegetable in pain, but it took the court to make them understand.

He made the offer. The family and the UK can take him up on it or not.

alright so lets take a look at your logic. By law the power to decide for the child rests with the guardians. Whether it be parents, adopted parents, or some other legally empowered authority.

In this case you decide that their judgement is wrong and the courts and the hospital have the right to end the childs life. This situation is not unique. The elderly have powers of attorney and next of kin deciding for them. In their case it would be easier to prove something is incurable. Spouses have partners that decide for them in case of accident.

What your ruling does is set up precedent for hospitals and the courts to decide whether someone lives or dies not the patient or the people he has entrusted to make the decision.

People laughed when palin said death panels. I dont see how this is far off.

since america is not a backward place like britain he would have been given the treatment already and would have lived or died based on it.
