LOL, well, I have made it clear for years that M.H. was my favorite Republican. But I still ain't getting excited....at least not yet.
Former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee says he opposes gay marriage, in part, because of the “ick factor,” and that God created marriage for straight people.

Huckabee is W on steroids. You will not get him on record disagreeing with anything W did or said. What you will see him on record doing is saying that he supports political positions because it is what his God told him is right.
That is why he is opposed to Gay marriage, because of God.

And Jarod, that is exactly why I oppose it. Without God (actually His word) there would be no basis for opposing it.

Christian Jarod, Christian.....I believe that true Christian's are governed by the New Testament not the Old Testament. You can find many varied beliefs in the world of "Christians." Some want to go to church on Saturday, some on Sunday, some not at all. Some want to accept homosexuality and some stand firm against it. Some forbid the eating of pork and certain meats and some do not. So you see, Jarod, you can find a lot of things to point out...like pork and such....that you can try to use to thwart my beliefs. The simple fact is, though Mr. Huckabee is a member of a "Christian" denomination and I am not, his beliefs on many things line up well with mine....so naturally I like the guy.
Well, you can have that conversation with Him one of these days. You can have it with Him now but it will be quite one sided I think.
