How Trump Lost On Health Care

Trump said day 1 - immediately. He said it would be "easy." He said he was a master deal-maker, and knew how to negotiate these things.

Then, he said healthcare was really complicated, and tried to blame a party that has no power anywhere for the fact that he couldn't bring Republicans together.

No spinning this one, I'm afraid. Trump's first bigtime, high-profile legislation - and he got embarrassed. He is no longer the "winning" guy. He's a loser.
lets be honest.....if it had passed this week you would still have called him a loser........

:0) Bullshit.

Did you say that Trump is a bubbling fool who will greatly increase democratic chances in the midterms and beyond?

I did.

Did you say that Trump Is the best thing that could have happened for the Democratic Party?

I did.

The nonsense you posted about Trump and the 'long game' is hilarious.
lol.....you think what it has done the last 90 days is GOOD for the demmycrat party?.......

Well, all kinds of fun predictions on this thread.

But really, the weirdest revelation is that Grind really does believe that Trump is some kind of mad genius.

People said the same shite about Hitler. And no - I'm not comparing Trump to Hitler. But it's just a similar phenomenon. Someone charismatic who seems to have a strategy for awhile, until it turns out he's just a delusional, lying dope.

That ain't nothing to worship.

lol....."I'm not comparing him to Hitler but look!....Hitler"..........it takes no prophetic powers to know that you will discredit whatever happens....../yawn......

trump turned a million dollars into a billion dollar empire becoming one of the richest real estate gurus in the history of the world. Imagine the effort it would take just to double that amount of money with investing. think he stumbled into that?

actually, that's a failure because he didn't do it within 60 days......

read my bio in my sig. I am a genius on this stuff, always way ahead of the likes of you. High profile? You continually underestimate the short attention span of the average american.
Some self proclaimed genius. Until Trump came along the only thing political you ever discussed was gun control and weed. Now I will admit that your George Zimmerman and Sandy Hook posts were some of the best comedy ever produced on JPP, even if advocating the mass executions of first graders was a bit over the top and your Zimmerman fetish kinda creepy, genius it is not.

Ok...so you called a statistical outlier when Trump got elected. Big deal. That doesn't make you a genius. You may actually get laid some day. That won't make you a Casanova either.

Agreed. Trump may have made a mistake and, if he still chooses to make repeal/reform a priority, then he can start working with stakeholders outside of government to gain information on how that reform or new legislation should take shape, as well as, develop a broader level of support.

Then again he may drop it for greener pastures with little harm done to his reputation.
A new cadre of yes men perhaps?? :whome:

Maybe Trump isn't that smart but Bannon is, I am sure you know that already.

oh what do you know, media outlets once again behind my genius analysis...they are starting to scratch their heads a little...

Yes, AHCA failure is a failure for the president, but it’s much more a failure for House leadership and Paul Ryan. They had seven years to prepare for this moment, and they failed to do so sufficiently.

Finally, for as much as this is a defeat for the White House, there is now a significant opening for Trump and his team to seize control of the agenda and the process going forward. This could be good or bad for conservatives, but it would definitely push the current leadership to the side. We’ll have to wait and see if that happens. But perhaps that’s what Steve Bannon wanted all along.

You guys are really milking that one. Especially since I said a week before the election that Hillary would lose.

Oh, and she won nationally by 3 million votes, right?

But right before election night, you changed it back to Hillary would win. Who cares if a week before you changed your mind to Hillary would lose, your last prediction was that she would win and you've lied about it.

Oh, and she didn't win anything nationally. She lost the national election, period.

Are you going to cry? It sounds like you're going to cry. What a sad little mosquito.

Look, the whole narrative since the election is that "Hillary might win unless she loses" Grind is now some insurmountable genius, and anyone who thought Hillary would win will be wrong forever. Trump won by 70,000+ votes in 3 states, and lost the national vote by 3 million.

You imbeciles need to get over yourselves. Trump's win was as flukey as it gets, and aided immensely by Comey breaking w/ FBI protocol. You can beat your chests for as long as you want, but Trump is EXACTLY the President that most intelligent people predicted he would be.

And that's something you & yours are going to have to live with for a long, long time. Mosquito.

thing1, this might be the billionth time I have had to explain this to you. It's not about calling who would win, it's about overall analysis. You never see me giving watermark shit, for example, because he understands probabilities. I remember arguing with you that trump's mexican judge comments wouldn't hurt him (trump got more hispanics than romney), I argued that clinton wouldn't be able to turn out the obama coalition. I talked about how the stuff khan said wouldn't be sinking his campaign. Every time something happened when it was time for you to virtue signal, I had to reign you in. Then I talked about how independent voters would not break for hillary, because she's a known quantity for 30 years, and they already know how they feel about her, so it was trump or stay home. 80% of last minute voters broke trump. Many of these things the media wasn't even talking about. In late 2015 I talked about the exact strategy of turning out the white working class votes by beating up on the minorities (who are mostly located in areas that aren't competitive anyway). You take all of the above and go "hurrr durrrr Grind said he'd either win or not win"... no bro... that's not the point and never was.

You are unable to grasp the nuances of politics. you are a level 1 thinker. You can only think of the immediate moves in front of you, you aren't a grandmaster like myself.

In short, I am the finest deep level theorist with impeccable political insight.

LOL, somebody mad because I pointed out your lie. Look it how whiny you are because your prediction failed. "You imbeciles...Trump's win was as flukey....Comey's fault...waaaaaaaaaaaaaah"

What a huge crybaby. You didn't have to lie about it, you could have simply accepted it as a man and moved on.

And dumbass, I've told you before, I didn't vote for Trump. But keep spouting that lie. It is really all you have against me, is lies. When it comes to the truth, you have nothing against me and cannot refute my logic or points, so you lie.
