I get that. Maybe "worship" is strong, but unless Grind is trolling (which is a possibility), the idea that Trump has some kind of genius master plan, and that losing this week's vote was part of it, is close to worship, imo.

trump turned a million dollars into a billion dollar empire becoming one of the richest real estate gurus in the history of the world. Imagine the effort it would take just to double that amount of money with investing. think he stumbled into that?
then he took on the political establishment with a stacked field and demolished them, candidates like jeb with a 100 million dollar war chest. The vast majority of the media was against him and he clobbered his way through that as well.
He managed to get Michigan, penn, and Wisconsin when no other republican could do that in decades. He did this by appealing to poor working class white people when he is a billionaire from new york.
He dabbles in bizarre shenanigans all the time to keep bamboozling the media, look up the whole john miller thing.
Not to mention likely being the one that made maddow look like a complete dumbass with the recent tax thing.
Trump is absolutely a genius.

trump took multiple bankrupcies. That would show he is ok with short term losses. If he was as you described he would have continued to funnel money into losing projects.
