As the November election looms, Lawrence Lessig and Matthew Seligman offer How to Steal a Presidential Election, a disturbing examination of the vulnerabilities and pressure points in the way the US selects its president. Short version: plenty can go wrong.
Lessig is a chaired professor at Harvard Law School. He views a second Trump term as calamitous. “He is a pathological liar, with clear authoritarian instincts,” Lessig writes. “His re-election would be worse than any political event in the history of America – save the decision of South Carolina to launch the civil war.”
“Despite all the attention on 6 January 2021 [the attack on Congress], our legal and political systems remain dangerously unprotected against a smarter and more sophisticated attempt in 2024.”

Don't let them dirty republicans steal your election. Demand same day voting, machine ballots with paper backup.
Trump came pretty close to stealing the election in '20. Without Pence adhering dutifully to the Constitution, who knows what might have happened.
Can you imagine if Stefanik or Lake had been his VP at that time?
This is, without doubt, a perilous time for the republic. I don't want to spend the years ahead saying "told ya so"......
Trump can use violence to overthrow the government.
Democrats did not cheat the election.
Boorish bullshit. Meanwhile, Biden and his DOJ are trying to jail their political opponents, refuse to close the border to millions of third world criminals and trying to get us into a war in Europe and the Middle East.
Talk about an existential threat!
...and voter ID. Fascinating how these uneducated leftist liars hate anything that would assure an honest election isn't it?
More dumb lies.
Indeed! It was a miracle dontchyaknow! 96% of registered voters voted for the very first time in our history and Biden got 81 million votes far in excess of any more popular Democrat before him.
Jurists overturned election laws in battleground states. You had vote harvesting, massive mail in ballots and unsecured ballot boxes.
Yep, it was a masterpiece in corrupting the system to ensure a mentally challenged, failed, corrupt, lying moron could get into the White House. And now, the country is paying for it in massive debt, massive inflation and massive influxes of dangerous criminals across our borders.
When you have an asshole like Trump running people will turn out in droves to defeat him. People were not neccessarily voting FOR Biden, they were voting AGAINST the shithead that ignorant shitheads like you worship. You think that won't happen again you just wait.
Here are some REPUBLICANS that will not vote for Trump.
Sen Ben Sasse from Nebraska.
Sen Susan Collins from Maine.
Rep Scott Rigell from Virginia.
X Rep Adam Kinzinger from Illionois.
Gov Marc Racicot from Maine.
Gov Charlie Baker from Massachucetts.
Sen Mark Kirk from Illionois.
Gov Larry Hogan
Gov Chris Christie
sen and gov Mitt Romney
Rep Liz Cheany
President George Bush
Gov Phil Scott from Vermont
Defense sec Chuck Hagel
Gov John Kasich from Ohio
Sec of state Colin Powell
Gov Christine Whitman from New Jersey
Rep Susan Molinari from New York
Rep Charlie Dent from Penn.
National security advisor John Bolton
Sen Jeff Flake from Arizona
And there are countless others that won't publically say so because they know the asshole is unfit. When has anyone ever seen so many saying they won't vote for their party?
Please nominate the asshole.
So what will republicans do when the guilty verdicts start rolling in? When New York finds him guilty of fraud and charges him over 300 million how many will bail out on him? How about when he is found guilty of tax evasion and paying off porn stars for sex?

Add Damocles to that list. I will not vote for Trump (I also will not vote for Brokebrain Brandon either). I do not believe, nor do I want to be part of any party, that "loyalty" to any man (yes, even Trump) is the measure of what makes a "good <insert party name>". A Belief in the Constitution, in smaller and leaner federal government, and freedom, that's what makes good republican, not how much of those beliefs I will sell in order to support Trump and/or Brandon.
the election rule changes were unconstitutional.
the whole election is invalid.
Nobody cares what you think and nobody should, because you are stupid.
Trump's team went to courts over 60 times and the courts never agreed and validated all the State results.

no they didn't.
they just dismissed trump claims.
that's not the same as validating all the results.
