I get it, you feel like a second class citizen because you were not able to pass the entrance exams to enter the local community college. You bought a GED from a Haitian in an ally, but id didn't get you into any sort of college; you couldn't pass the entrance exam, the ACT and SAT.
Those who continually humiliate you on message boards all have Bachelor, Masters, and Doctorate degrees, where the last legitimate level of education for you is what, 3rd grade?

It is not usually that cut and dried and depends on the school and who is on the selection committee. A member of a selection committee on which I served added the question "how do you celebrate diversity?" as an interview question. Some faculty members would roll their eyes at such sentiment.
The worst abuses have been applied to students. In one class students had to admit their white privilege before they could participate in class discussion which was a big part of their grade. Students writing admission essays feel they must show some "suffering" themselves or empathy with minorities. One student said she sat at the black lunch table.
A recent story was about a student who won a scholarship to the U. of Pa (?) for low income first generation college students. She had a single mother, was beaten up and hospitalized, etc. Then, she won a Rhodes Scholar honor. The school began to get letters questioning her honesty. A lot of her story was questioned and she lost her Rhodes Scholarship and maybe her PA degree.
Her defense was that she identified as a low-income first generation student.
I don't believe for a nanosecond your professor spent EVERY class lecturing for 15 minutes on the Sandinistas.
