Sorry but the hole in T.D.s logic that you fell for is the simple fact that in a highly socialized yet industrially advanced economy such as in Germany, higher taxes provide an abundance of free services not enjoyed by the poor in this country. I would much rather be poor in Germany than here.

I am not saying that I agree with the idea of having less control over how your own money is spent; just that there is a huge difference in the quality of life of a poor person in the US versus a poor person in a socialist European country.

the average auto worker in Germany made $67.14 per hour in salary in benefits;

the average one in the U.S. made $33.77 per hour.

Pretty slick to ignore the US auto workers benefits in the calculation...which would being the figure to well over $70

Counting commercial vehicles and cars
Germany made 2,867,121 vehicles
while the
US produced 5,665,485
in the first 6 months of 2013

2012....
Germany - 5,649,269 in 2012

FYI; I was born there and lived most my youth up until age 21 there. Half my family is there as my momis German. I love Germany and Europe; but I know better than want to be like them.

Show me information that says America produces twice the number of vehicles America does. FACTS aren't just saying what you want. Post a link moron.
