Well, when I hear liberals describe what they consider a "decent" republican, it always makes me leery. Typically it means a republican that is more leftist aka Teddy Roosevelt.

As far as Eisenhower's claim of the "military industrial complex", I don't deny that there are those who have a vested interest at keeping a nation at war. Countries have been doing that for years. That is why the Founders devised our system so that Congress had to "VOTE" to declare war. Ironically enough, the last time they did that was a war that led to Eisenhower becoming President. So, that military industrial complex sure had hand in Eisenhower's career.


However, OBOMBA is the boss. He wanted to sit in the big chair. He spend a billion dollars to do it. You are implying that there are forces out of his control. Which implies that he is feckless and a mere figure head. Is that what you mean to imply? If so, you only serve to enforce my opinion of the big eared loser.
