EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
An ongoing Congressional investigation across five House Committees concerning the events surrounding the September 11, 2012, terrorist attacks on U.S. facilities in Benghazi, Libya has made several determinations to date, including:
● Reductions of security levels prior to the attacks in Benghazi were approved at the highest levels of the State Department, up to and including highest levels of the State Department, up to and including Secretary Clinton. This fact contradicts her testimony before the House Foreign Affairs Committee on January 23, 2013.
● In the days following the attacks, White House and senior State Department
officials altered accurate talking points drafted by the Intelligence Community in
orderto protect the State Department.
● Contrary to Administration rhetoric, the talking points were not edited to protect classified information. Concern for classified information is never mentioned in email traffic among senior Administration officials.
These preliminary findings illustrate the need for continued examination and oversight by the five House Committees. The Committees will continue to review who exactly was responsible for the failure to respond to the repeated requests for more security and for the effort to cover up the nature of the attacks, so that appropriate officials will be held accountable.

The Deteriorating Security environment in Benghazi
The decisions by the British Embassy, United Nations, and the International Committee of the Red Cross to withdraw their personnel from Benghazi after armed assailants launched directed attacks against each organization were additional major indicators of the increasingly threatening environment. These developments caused Lieutenant Colonel Andrew Wood, who led the U.S. military’s efforts to supplement diplomatic security in Libya, to recommend that the State Department consider pulling out of Benghazi altogether. Lieutenant Colonel Wood explained that after the withdrawal of these other organizations, “it was apparent to me that we were the last [Western] flag flying in Benghazi. We were the last thing on their target list to remove from Benghazi.”

The collection of investigative reports reached harsh conclusions. Requests for extra security in Benghazi went unheeded in the weeks and months before the attacks, and there was poor communication within the State Department about those requests. National security officials did not respond to increased violence in the region by deploying more military assets nearby that could have responded sooner. After the attacks, U.N. Ambassador Susan Rice was given inaccurate information about the incident that she shared widely with the American public.
In its report, the Accountability Review Board cited "systemic failures and leadership and management deficiencies" among senior officials at the State Department.Four agency employees were reassigned.
Significantly, none of the reports found evidence that Clinton or anyone else had ordered the military not to attempt a rescue, that the CIA had been trying to move weapons from Libya to Syria, or that Rice’s misstatements after the attacks were a deliberate bid to downplay the terrorist threat for political reasons.

The question is why wasn't the military ordered to attempt a rescue or at the very least show up to prevent further attacks....
They certainly could not be expected to act on their own without orders.

Forget it, eight investigating Congressional Committees, one Special Imvestigating Committee, fifty six separate Congressional Hearings along with thousands upon thousands of document reviews, and you still can't accept that nothing was proven.
Common sense dictates that there was nothing there to prove, all innuendo, or that the Republicans are just god awful investigators. It all was a facade that you bought

What is this doublethink? He knew from day one what everything regarding Benghazi was, Trump, or any of the Republicans involved could care less about Benghazi, it was all a facade from the start designed specifically to get the GOP candidate elected.

Correct....there was no evidence found to verify that....except the sworn testimony of 3 people that were there and that survived the attack and swore they did get the order to stand down.
Who had the biggest reason to lie...them or those that gave such an order.....think.
