Hopey Changie!

Its not complete but its change that gives me hope!

So essentially what you are saying is that you are going to revert to non-stop ignorance like that which you have displayed on this thread? you are going to start thread after thread after thread after thread on stupid meaningless bullshit.

adding jobs at the food line maybe

No bob... you see as long as you have a job... Obama saved it. Thank him and praise him. He saved every job that still exists. Those 7 million jobs lost... well hey... it COULD have been 8 million. So praise him.

Unemployment is still over 10%, and Obama promised it wouldn't be over 8% if we passed the stimulus and elected him. He promised the stimulus would create millions of new jobs, instead, he has lost 4 million jobs in his first year. But the biggest lie he told, was about how his administration was going to be "transparent" ...they are more secretive than Bush/Cheney ever dreamed of being. He did deliver on one promise, he said he would unite America, and he has done that... united against his agenda!

Jarhead, I hope all of these threads you are posting are making you feel better about the situation. I know it sucks when your entire ideology seems to be spiraling down the toilet before your eyes, when you were so close to having it all! So by all means, you just keep on propping yourself up with all of these positive-thinking posts about how great and wonderful Obama has done! If it helps you deal with what's happening, and keeps you from blowing your pinhead off, then I am all for it! And who said I didn't have a heart?
That was the change the people elected him to see. A "truly transparent" government. It's why Ds are losing their jobs right now. They read the election results wrong and STILL believe that making people choke on malformation of the health care system is what will save them.

What are you guys going to argue if the trend continues into next month and jobs are increasing?

I've already explained how this isn't much of a "good" indicator at all.

Let's say I had a company that laid off 20% (100 employees total, I lay off 20, 80 left) of its workers at the beginning of the downturn. As it continued I laid off another 10% (now only 8, 72 employees left now) and started cutting into the meat... I was able to squeak out a bit more productivity from my employees and now was able to lay off 5% more and get a bit of a profit just last month... (that's 3 more if you're doing the math I now have 69 employees), it isn't because the economy is getting better that I am laying off less people.

Less people losing their jobs is not an indicator of a powerfully good change in the economy.

well if anything its an indicator that our economy is in far worse shape then they (the admin)are willing to admit, or for what's to come. Basically it just says they dont have a clue what they are doing, or they know exactly what they are doing and being totally dishonest about it.

we have been lucky enough to just have to deal with wage freezes, but now their talking layoffs.. not good.

no, bull shit, i kow you being sarcastic, the people who are saving my job are my fellow employees working their ass off. Obama and his admin have done nothing but make it harder on everyone who has a job in the privet sector.

Does anyone else get the impression that Jarod could wake up tomorrow with his ass coated in KY and Rahm Emanuel spooning him and he'd say...

"Thats some hopey changie stuff that has worked pretty well for me!"

No - you can hold him to it. Just try to be intellectually honest when doing so.

You know full well that if the economy doesn't do well, Obama will get full blame for it, and you'll be leading the charge. He staked a lot on the stimulus; I don't believe he or any President should ever get full credit, but he will deserve some credit for the recovery if it takes hold....

awesome, onceler finally admits i can hold obama responsible as the buck stops with him....

about time you obsessive obama apologist....

IF the stimulus works, obama will get credit, he was the main proponent of it, i have never said otherwise. in fact, i have repeatedly told you he has owned the economy since the stimulus bill....he took that bill and did everything in his power to get it passed....

IF it doesn't work, i have no doubt you will be the first to still blame bush and give obama credit that it wasn't worse

Nobody else said it was a "powerfully good" indicator except for Y-O-U.

It is, however, a MODERATELY POSITIVE change in the economy...can't you even give the man that much credit?
