I see the rub now. A study must have come out that said these home schooled kids are smart capitalists and therefore more likely to be Republican and now must be shut down.

I personally wouldn't home school my child but to each his own for what they feel is best for their children. Not surprising that liberals who don't like charter schools or anything other than straight public school would not like home schooling. Definitely not a "pro-choice" position.
 
I went to a public h.s., never did any homework, crammed just enough to pass tests and suffered my first yr. in college, less so the second, not at all the 3rd and 4th. I did learn to not be afraid to street fight and get the occasional bloody nose though.

You are my doppelganger as far as school. I didn't study anything ever until mid soph year in college and then started and was a dean's list student throughout. As far as fighting, no. I was on the wrestling team in HS, but can't box or bar fight. I was strong as fuckall for my little size, I could freeweight max bench dbl my weight when I weighed 135.
