Hillary didn’t throw a baby fit!

But Al Gore and Clinton did... My point is, you support the actions of Trump when folks are on your side. I watched you do it with Gore. He threw a "baby fit"... he didn't concede until December 13th.

And Trump is simply doing what Hillary advised Biden to do. If Biden was the one slightly behind in PA (and yeah that is a low number of votes for a blue state to be won by a D) you'd be saying the opposite. We get that you don't like Trump. But this whole thread is a sack of smelly hypocrisy.

Gore's situation isn't remotely comparable.

Gore's situation isn't remotely comparable.

Almost nothing will ever be, each is unique. And pretending that it isn't "remotely" comparable is absurd. Of course it is. He was battling in courts, so is Trump, he waited until the courts ended all pathways to concede, so will Trump.

That's pretty comparable, even if the reasons are not the same.

No, it isn't. Gore was battling to get an allowable recount completed. His mistake was making it selective - but he wasn't yelling "massive voter fraud" every day.

And Trump, btw, has yelled "massive voter fraud" every day - even for months BEFORE the election. Oh, and he yelled in 2016, also - even though he won. Because his ego felt bruised by the popular vote tally.

Gore was also looking at a difference of 527 votes in 1 state. Trump would have to overturn multiple states - all of which he is trailing by over 10,000 votes (minimum) at the moment.

So, no - it is not remotely comparable.

It is "remotely" comparable, and I showed exactly how it is. As I said, we're comparing apples to apples here, that the court cases were for different reasons notwithstanding the reality is Trump will concede once the last pathway is closed. It probably will be relatively soon if all the "there is no evidence" screams are right.

I think Al Gore had a legit argument over 1 State and 500 votes, it was a very very different thing. The Republicans called him all kinds of UnAmerican, and he conceded once it was over then attended the inauguration.

Are you arguing that if Hillary advised Biden to do it, that makes it okay? I condemn Hillary for saying that it was stupid and irresponsible.

I do not think almost 50,000 votes is a low number, Trump certainly did not consider it a low number when he won Pennsylvania by less. Trump needs to concede it is very clear he lost. It is four States, the largest of them is PA where Biden won by 50,000. How in the world is there 50,000 worth of fraud?

If he wants his legal challenges, then he should give a speech assuring the people that if he lost he will concede.

It is clear to me that Trump is testing to see if he can get away with pulling a Putin. He will stay if he can regardless of the express will of the American people. I love America and it upsets me to see us this close to losing Democracy and people like you sitting by and watching it happen.

Very remote.

I wish he would say that, like Al Gore did.

I just condemned her...

Easy as pie now... lol.

Personally, I don't think that what is happening is outside the process provided in the Constitution. I didn't think it was in FL with Gore either. This is an important position with many folks willing to "help", it is important that we go through stuff like this every once in a while to ensure folks that the votes are relatively accurate even if there are some irregularities.

Even Trump is smart enough to see that these lawsuits are not enough to overturn the vote. He has not even bothered to present any coherent argument leading to that outcome.

Here is my real issue, I believe Trump is playing toward an endgame that plays out the clock with the lawsuits, resulting in votes not being certified by the deadline, thereby throwing it to the House of Representatives and getting himself appointed president despite having lost the popular vote. I would not have been concerned in a different time, but I have seen so many Republicans allow Trump to get away with so much, I have no doubt they will allow this... It would be the end of our Democracy to allow Trump to remain even though he was not elected.

Does that possibility not concern you?

"Hillary didn’t throw a baby fit!"

You have no idea what that ignorant bitch did wandering around the woods for a month or two.

Intelligent people realize that HRC was cheated by Russian operatives working for Vladimir Putin.

Once Trump is ejected from office and we take the Senate, he will pay the price for his collusion and corruption.

I'm more of the belief that he's doing this to get money to pay back campaign debt.
