An FBI investigation for someone about to be on the Supreme Court should be a no-brainer.

i'll try to explain this again

this is obvious politics.

we have had multiple delays now. democrats are no operating in good faith. additionally republicans have a 1 in 3 chance of losing the senate in a month. so while you think it's all about covering up sex crimes, there are very clear, obvious reasons that we wouldn't want this delayed any longer. This is especially true when we don't even believe ford and realize there is zero upside. By next week, the FBI will turn in their 302s that will restate everything we already know, and you'll continue to oppose kavanaughs nomination. We have ZERO to gain in this, and potential losses. stop being obtuse.

Feinstein and the DNC sure didn't mind revealing who she was, when they finally realized that the "accusation" wasn't enough for them to reach their agenda.
