the article clearly states the governor is tired of the daily requests for information concerning the original long form b/c.....the article clearly states that they have to spend money answering all the questions regarding the long form.....so, contrary to your false assumption, hawaii is currently wasting time and resources on this because obama has not released the a copy or a picture of the long form (orginal)

My first passport was issued in the late '70s. I needed a birth certificate then, just as people need one today.

Perhaps you can link me up to info showing that at some point BCs weren't required for passports. It would make your response less meaningless.

all they used to require was a short form certificate which stated there was a birth certificate on file......you know, the same sort of thing that Obama released to the public.....it's what I sent in with my application for a passport, which they sent back as inadequate.......even though it was the same thing I used the first time.....

which reminds me of something else that bugs me......why did I have to send them anything to RENEW my passport......why shouldn't it have been enough that I used to HAVE a passport.......
