I didn't need the same documentation for my expired passport that I did for this one.....in truth, I believe they only came up with the new requirements in the period since 9/11......thus your question is meaningless......

My first passport was issued in the late '70s. I needed a birth certificate then, just as people need one today.

Perhaps you can link me up to info showing that at some point BCs weren't required for passports. It would make your response less meaningless.

I don't even have my original Birth Certicate anymore. I haven't had it for decades. I have a re-issued one that looks NOTHING like my original. So that being said, if the state of new mexico says I was born here is that not enough?

of course its enough...hawaii says obama's original is on file...yet they continue to get requests to see the original...so your situation is not the same the as obama's

there may be a very very small scant few that claim its fake, but the vast majority still questioning it are questioning it because he won't release the original...that is why hawaii keeps getting requests about the original...if obama allows it to be shown, there are no further questions regarding the original

Hey I got an idea. Why don't we assign a special prosecutor to settle this matter once and for all just like they did with White Water. Damo, you're either being purposefully obtuse or criminally naive. Enough evidence has been given to establish the fact of Obama's citizenship. If some wacko clown wants to have a hissy fit because it's not good enough for him/her, then that is his/her problem and not Obama's. It's funny how you spin this to be his responsibility when it is not. You're using some pretty warped logic there.

That's a false assumption on your part. Obama has made good faith efforts above and beyond what the law has required but the bar keeps getting raised and these ridiculous request still keep coming in. What evidence do you have that complying with the wishes of a fringe group of nuts will stop this behavior? How do we know that they won't raise the bar again? Please show that to us and if you can provide us enough evidence that this behavior will stop, and that they will not raise the bar of proof again, then maybe it should be consider but all's you've given us on your part is an assumption that this behavior will stop if your suggestion is complied with. You and Damo need to provide us sound evidence and proof, not just your opinions and assumption, that this odd and disruptive behavior will cease as soon as Obama complies with your's and the birthers request. Until then, this is a complete waste of time and resources and your suggestion will only make the problem worse. Show of the facts and proof to your contention and maybe we'll consider it.

tff....all you have is assumption as well....i however have logic behind my assumption, you have nothing

the article clearly states the governor is tired of the daily requests for information concerning the original long form b/c.....the article clearly states that they have to spend money answering all the questions regarding the long form.....so, contrary to your false assumption, hawaii is currently wasting time and resources on this because obama has not released the a copy or a picture of the long form (orginal)

if obama allows the long form to be shown, why would anyone have any other questions about what is on the long form? come up with something logical mott....
