If they are conducted impartially, fairly, thoroughly and transparently, I will not be embarrassed, because all I have ever wanted is an honest election and honest results.

That seems odd to you because you only care about winning, and your side cheats or does whatever is necessary to win. So, to you guys, losing honestly OR dishonestly is the same thing. Losing.

Cheating is part of your side's Plan A because they know they can't win honestly and don't care if they are seen as dishonest.

But if they have done what they have done and half the populace is still on their side, they have satisfied the "seen" optics implied in the quote.
