The only reason it was a big deal was because of Zimmermans last name. The media thought they had a story of a white Jew killing a colored boy so they could gin up the race baiting industry. Once they realized George wasn't a Jew they couldn't turn back do they had to see it through and twisted themselves in knots even going so far as to call him a white Hispanic

The murders in Chicago are mostly colored on colored. That don't appeal to the race hustlers

This is just like the western misogynists who like to claim that american feminists "don't care" about women suffering in other countries and are outraged over what they view as no-big-deal sexism in America. It's a diversion, it's not true, human beings are very capable of being concerned about two things at once.
