That’s what happens when you are hard wired by the military. While the bigotry is true, it's pretty common to demean the enemy since it makes it easier to kill them. Most Westerners are raised to believe killing people is wrong. Solution? Don't think of them as people. Think of them as a degenerate, subhuman race. It makes shooting them in the head a lot easier.
Isn't that what the Palestinians think about Jews?

Would we as Americans accepts the UN taking part of our country and annexing it for a group of people to form a country within our borders?
Then you know how many innocents suffer because of governments.I'm not a lawyer, just a realist. I'm also pretty knowledgeable on how guerrilla warfare works.![]()
My understanding is the Brits pretty much did walk away, and the UN stepped in with an ad hoc partition. I am no expert in Palestinians, but they have a right to continue to live in that areaIt's a shame the Brits didn't just walk away and do nothing, rather than hand half of the territory of Palestine to a group of people who were religiously at odds with the rest of the region.
But you people have it backwards. It's the law of the jungle. As an anthropology student, you know that is true.
Guerilla tactics can work, but they require the support of the local population. The Cold War resulted in a lot of strange bedfellows, mostly the US aligning with RW dictators like Diem while the communists promised peace and prosperity for all...until they took over, then, not so much. LOL
The phrase "MAGA morons" explains it all.So this wasn't Trump's peace plan?
This was a ruse, a trick, before Isreal's final offensive of utter annihilation?
Then why did you MAGA morons spend the last 72 hours shouting from the rooftops that peace had broken out, and chanting for Trump to get the Nobel Peace prize?
No, but there was no country of Palestine. That area had been part of the Ottoman Empire for five centuries, and then part of the British mandate for 40 years. There was no established or recognized sovereign borders of an independent nation-state to that pointWould we as Americans accepts the UN taking part of our country and annexing it for a group of people to form a country within our borders?
no they didn't.No, even your own MAGA boyfriends on this thread just claimed this morning that this prisoner exchange was a trick, a ruse by Trump before the final offensive to annihilate resistance in Gaza.
Agreed on the Brits and the UN. Let's not forget this all began with the secret Brit-French 1916 agreement. My understanding is the Brits pretty much did walk away, and the UN stepped in with an ad hoc partition. I am no expert in Palestinians, but they have a right to continue to live in that area
THe british did have Palestine on their maps. No, but there was no country of Palestine That area had been part of the Ottoman Empire for five centuries, and then part of the British mandate for 40 years. There was no established or recognized sovereign borders of a nation-state
I think the Palestinians, Christians and Jews who lived there would disagree, though no formal country it was still their homeland and it was taken from them. No, but there was no country of Palestine That area had been part of the Ottoman Empire for five centuries, and then part of the British mandate for 40 years. No doubt the terrorist supporters woul argue that point. An argument can be made that those 2,000 released Palestinians were also "hostages," eh?
In two weeks. Some times Trump over estimates. But I have no doubt he will get the job done. Putin is just going to have to take some more prodding.
In exchange for 20 Israeli college students, Trump agreed to release thousands of Palestinian prisoners including hundreds convicted of terrorism.
Since Trump's opening offer in the negotiation was undoubtedly a one-for-one prisoner exchange, you can see how badly Hamas out-negotiated him into an awesome deal for the notorious terrorist organization:
Israel frees nearly 2,000 Palestinian prisoners, including hundreds of terror convicts![]()

Prisoners released after Hamas frees the last 20 living hostages; among those released are dozens of high-profile terrorists sentenced to life in jail; 154 of the worst offenders deported to Egyptwww.timesofisrael.com
It was also the UN.
I agree that Arab families had lived in that part of the Ottoman Empire for centuries.I think the Palestinians, Christians and Jews who lived there would disagree, though no formal country it was still their homeland and it was taken from them.
I don’t believe most of the people arrested were really terrorist. Israel has a bad habit of human rights violations towards Palestinians, much like the United States is doing to brown skinned people currently.
