I disagree with you. Guns, by their nature, promote a culture of murder and violence, in the hands of humans.

I'm pretty sure the murder rates in countries that don't celebrate universal ownership of handguns have lower murder rates.

Sure, one these morons could have pulled out a kitchen knife and stabbed the other one to death. Or hired a contract killer. But, few people ultimately find the nerve to stab someone to death. That shit is a bloody mess and involves hand-to-hand combat. And fewer people have the nerve or fortitude to find and negotiate with a contract killer. Guns make murder easy, quick, and relatively hassle-free especially in a momentary fit of passionate rage.

The educated person would look at the UK and France. The two European countries closest to us in size and GDP. They have exponentiall lower murder rates, the NRA's will attack that message like it's the black plague.

Knives are just as easy to use in a fit of rage. Domestic violence cases see women beaten severely every day. The use of a knife is not uncommon at all. And firing a gun inside a building is far worse on the shooter than stabbing someone is on the knife wielder.

No offense, but you know I'm right. Stabbing someone to death is a rare occurence, because first of all it's difficult to actually kill someone with a knife, unless you stab them multiple times before finally hitting a vital organ, and secondly, few people have the nerve to engage in hand to hand combat and stab someone mulitple times.

I have spent plenty of time in college, and have a degree to prove it. And I can say that, on this topic, you are ignorant.

You take one minor detail in the woman's life, make inaccurate predictions about what you think, happened, and then try to make the case that it has anything to do with a national crime problem. You try and blame inanimate objects for acts committed by people.

And then you want to call other people uneducated? Exactly what part of your education prepared you for making suppositions on this topic?

right, which is why a student in east texas was able to kill a teacher by stabbing him with a knife, or a lunatic in china can go on a knifing spree because it's so damned hard to kill with a knife.
