Gun Monkey Follies

Taichiliberal

Shaken, not stirred!
Now you had an ex-con on parole cutting loose with an assault weapon in Cambridge, MA. Fortunately only 2 people were injured, no fatalities. The perp was taken down by police fire, and is hospitalized... to stand trial when he's able.

The immediate question comes to mind ... how the hell does an ex-con on parole gets his hands on an assault weapon AND back up piece? Was that weapon formerly on the 1994 AWB list? Would a universal background check and registration of ALL weapons sales have prevented this?

Simple, buys them on the street, the Iron pipeline supplies all kinds of weapons to the NorthEast

My immediate question is why didn't the police ensure this fuckstick was dead on the scene. That saves taxpayers a pile of cash and it means this asshole never does it again.

A) Executioner is not their job and B) far from saving taxpayers a pile of cash, that's how multi-million dollar wrongful death lawsuits get filed against city governments.

Better if cops learn to stifle their rage and act responsibly.

I have that fool on ignore, so I can't see his drivel. Judging by your post, he's doing the standard gun monkey shuffle. Pathetic.

There is no such thing as an assault weapon. Inanimate objects do not assault people.

You should learn something about guns before embarrassing yourself with your ignorance.

Evil people will not be stopped by more laws. Particularly evil governments.

Do you not understand what "law enforcement" mesns? Why police are called "officers of the law"? Or how you are able to function in relative safety from criminal activity (depending on location and economic level)?

But I digress. For you education:

Propaganda from anti gun organizations is not "education" nitwit.

Citizens cannot purchase guns originally designed for military use. Those guns are fully automatic and have long been outlawed.

There is no such thing as an assault rifle no matter how much yammering from the left lying about it there is.

So long as the government is in possession of AR style rifles smart citizens would be wise to keep theirs.

Massachusetts has some of the strictest gun laws in the nation. Street guns are simply too plentiful for those laws to be effective. Also, just across the border, we have no gun laws at all in New Hampshire. The traffic crossing the state line is constant, twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week. If I had the knowledge and materials to build a nuclear bomb, I could rent a truck and deliver it to downtown Boston in forty minutes.

Our Constitution allowed for this ridiculous situation to occur. I'd love to hear suggestions as to what can be done about it now. I myself don't have any.

Comrade,

What gun store or federal firearms dealer is not required to do a background check?

1. Your first sentence is just gun monkey smoke rift with personal projection. You can't logically or factually refute one point from the link.

2. At one point they could until the laws changed, in which such weapons purchased prior to a law change could keep said weapons. Case in point, AK-47. Also, gun range owners in some states can have some full auto weapons for target shoots. There was a case awhile back where some idiots gave a Uzi to a grade schoolers for target practice at a legal firing range. The recoil resulted in her getting killed.

3. The U.S. military, weapon manufacturers, states and federal law disagree with you at one point or another.

4. And how's that worked out for the victims and surviving family members of mass shootings of that type of weapon (formally banned) for the last 30 years? 😐

Buys them from the Mexican cartels that Obiden supported?

The obvious question is that you who are demanding the end of civil rights claim outlawing guns for the law abiding will stop these sorts of shootings. Why did this criminal not obey your laws?

Probably. What gun monkeys don't or won't deal with is how those weapons get into the "pipeline" in the first place.

Why don't you give us your conspiracy theory, comrade?

If there were such a "pipeline" of illegal guns, will you anti-rights monkeys make double secret probation laws to make them more illegal?

Or just disarm the law abiding and call it good?

With all due respect, Anti-Liberty Monkeys don't want to stop evil people. Criminals and killers are not the target of the gun grabbing baboons seeking to end civil rights.

Assault weapon’ isn’t a myth, it’s a legal label. Guns don’t assault people, but people use them to. And laws don’t cure evil, they cage it, imperfectly, but better than pretending chaos polices itself.
