Sadly, you are correct. Republicans have already confirmed they will make no attempt to lead, or run things. It will be a nonstop political campaign using the power of the Congress. They may well do the unconstitutional step of destroying the full faith and credit of the USA just to get Biden.
There is a level of bitterness that it hard for me to accept. In my world, we should be grateful to live in such a wonderful country, and such a wonderful time. Republicans have found a real strain of bitterness in America, where people want to burn everything down.

It really does not. Democrats were very willing to get bills passed, especially if they agree with them. Often trump's laziness was holding the whole process back.

Let's assume for a moment that your gerrymandering exists and is one-sided. The individual districts still have the same population. It's basic maths, no doubt a weak point with libs, but simple nonetheless. Not mere evidence, but mathematical proof.
